EID had the honor of receiving, on the 11th, the visit of Brigadier General João Barroso, Director of the Army Communications and Information Directorate accompanied by Lieutenant Colonel Paulo Margarido. This visit reinforces the proximity and collaboration between EID and the Army, highlighting the company’s strategic role in the development of communications solutions and information systems for defense.

The delegation visited several areas of the company, with special emphasis on the engineering and production departments, where the latest developments in tactical communications and command and control systems were presented. There was also a presentation where the leadership of the teams involved in the projects had the opportunity to go into a little more detail and get to know Brigadier General our technological capabilities, as well as ongoing projects that contribute to the modernization and operationalization of military communications.

The visit was also an opportunity to strengthen dialogue and explore new opportunities for collaboration, aligned with the strategic needs of the Portuguese Army. EID thus reaffirms its commitment to continue innovating and providing excellent technological solutions for national defense.
