Congratulations to Lieutenant Inês Pereira, the first woman to command a National Detached Army Force in Slovakia, near the Ukrainian border.
At the age of 27, Lieutenant Inês Pereira is making history by leading a Portuguese Army platoon on its first international mission. With five Leopard 2A6 combat cars and 24 soldiers, the mission will take place on NATO’s eastern flank.
To equip the Leopard 2A6 for this important operation, we are proud to have the ICC-251 intercoms and PRC-525 radios, both developed by EID.
This is yet another example of EID’s innovation and commitment to the security and efficiency of our Armed Forces. We wish Lieutenant Inês Pereira and her team every success in this crucial mission! 💪
