EID and Critical Software have partnered to broaden their scope of delivery and market coverage to offer “flexible and agile C4I solutions for domestic and international customers,” according to a statement.
The cooperation agreement sets out the objective of providing complete C4I equipment (command, control, communications, computers and information), “increasing situational awareness and enabling faster and more informed decisions for defense and peacekeeping and security organizations alike at the national as well as the international level”.
In this regard, the same statement said, EID’s digital communication and information exchange resources, which include personal, portable and manpack radios, data and energy integrators, data terminals, intercom systems, will be used in conjunction with the solution Critical Software’s EyeCommand, providing “command and control capabilities and a common operational image, enabling faster and more accurate decision-making at the tactical and operational levels.”
“Our collaboration and combined offering will enable us to offer national and international defense, peacekeeping and homeland security organizations a complete solution”, emphasizes Nuno Cordeiro, Programs & Strategic Partnerships Director of EID.
Nuno Bustorff Silva, Critical Software’s Business Development Manager, considers that “this is a positive step in the joint journey to provide flexible and agile communication solutions for defense, peacekeeping and homeland security clients”.
