EID designs and supplies hardware and software solutions, producing and integrating communications and information equipment and systems, with a special focus on the Defense market and holding internationally recognized skills in the field of military communications.

The solutions developed cover diverse areas such as naval communications, tactical communications covering vehicles and individual users, radios, military messaging, etc. The continuously evolving technological context of our products is quite diversified, comprising in-house development and production of embedded distributed systems including software and hardware, web based centralized management, voice and data communication protocols, mobile terminals, public key cryptography, secure cross-domain network solutions, etc.

YOUR ROLE

• Act as the main point of contact with the client for project management;
• Analyse in detail the project’s scope of supply, deadline and cost;
• Develop the project management plan for effective project execution;
• Identify, assess and proactively manage risks associated with the project, preparing the risk management plan;
• Manage all internal and external resources involved in the project, including subcontractors;
• Monitor and control project costs, ensuring compliance with established budgets;
• Plan and trigger internal orders and purchase requests, monitoring their execution;
• Recording lessons learnt throughout the project;
• Ensure compliance with established deadlines, taking corrective measures when necessary;
• Maintaining regular communication with clients for updates and ensuring ongoing satisfaction;
• Implementing quality management practices and processes to ensure delivery to a high standard.

OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB:

• University degree or equivalent in Engineering, Management or related
• Proven experience in identifying, assessing and mitigating risks in complex projects.
• Exceptional negotiation skills to secure advantageous agreements and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Ability to plan, execute and finalise projects according to established deadlines and budgets.
• Practical knowledge and experience in applying Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, for effective communication with international teams.

YOUR ROLE

• Conduct detailed analysis of existing processes to identify areas for improvement in terms of efficiency and quality;
• Collaborate in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and compliance;
• Identify opportunities to optimize workflow, reduce cycle times and improve overall efficiency;
• Implement process changes, ensuring a smooth transition and minimizing negative impacts on production;
• Evaluate, select and implement technologies and operational tools (schedules and production flows) that improve efficiency and quality;
• Developing content for operational teams, ensuring that they understand and follow the new procedures;
• Collaborating in the implementation of quality standards and ensuring that they are maintained throughout the processes;
• Define the operating sequence as well as the methods and calculate the times involved per operation;
• Identify and resolve operational challenges, implementing practical and effective solutions;
• Work closely with production, engineering and quality teams to ensure alignment and synergies in processes;
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, including production dossiers of operational procedures and specifications;
• Ensuring that products and processes meet industry standards (ISO, IPC).

 

OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB:

• Higher education in Electronics or Production Engineering;
• Minimum of 5 + years of experience gained within a dynamic industry environment, preferably within the electronics industry;
• Ability to map existing processes and create new working models;
• Effective communication skills at all levels;
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about manufacturing processes;
• Knowledge in MTM/MOST, lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma is a plus.
