EID successfully underwent the renewal of AQAP-2110 certification. The audit was performed by representatives of the Directorate-General for National Defence Resources, who verified the compliance of quality objectives and practices in relation to EID policy.
AQAP-2110 defines the NATO requirements for quality assurance in design, development and manufacturing, specifying the requirements for military contracts. It’s also a supplement and expansion of the ISO 9001 quality standard.
The NATO quality certificate was delivered at the company premises by Portuguese Ministry of Defence representatives on 2nd July 2015, who highlighted the maturity and effectiveness of the quality management system.
The AQAP-2110 certification, together with ISO 9001 (held by EID since 2001), validates the company commitment to Quality, which is passed on to Customers through our products and services.
