EID take great pride in sharing that the Royal Australian Navy’s (RAN) third (HMAS Sydney) and final Hobart-class Air Warfare Destroyer (AWD) has passed scrutinous systems trials.
The ship was tested for four and a half months in the United States and Canada, and will now join its sister ships Hobart and Brisbane in being ready for operational deployment.
All three AWD’s, as well as the new Supply-class Auxiliary Oiler Replenishment (AOR) ships and HMAS Choules amphibious Landing Ship Dock, use EID’s proven ICCS.
We would like to congratulate the Royal Australian Navy and all those involved who have given their time and expertise to this successful operation. We hope to be celebrating many more successes with you all in the near future.
