Within the framework of Portuguese Army SIC-Tactico program, the Army awarded EID a contract for the delivery of a batch of Ruggedized Servers EID SR-202, an evolution of an earlier product, now featuring an Intel® Core™2 Duo processor and a removable solid state 128GB disk.
This contract follows several other deliveries of tactical networking equipment by EID, such as ruggedized routers, servers and docking stations, mostly aimed for the Pandur 8×8 armored vehicles.
