EID got the first award from the Portuguese Army for its brand new ICC-401 IP vehicular intercom system.
The ICC-401 is the latest product in EID’s intercom systems family, a key building block in field information and communications networks. This family has been widely adopted by armies worldwide, with more than 4,500 ICC digital systems currently in operation, fielded through 12 different armies globally.
The new equipment concerning this order will be delivered to the Portuguese Army later this year. The system is designed for operations in the harshest environments, with its ring topology improving survivability and ensuring high performance. Its Dynamic Noise Reduction technology improves audio intelligibility and user comfort. It offers full compatibility with legacy and new radio systems from all major suppliers.
Eduardo Prata, Marketing and Sales Manager at EID said: “We are highly experienced in the development and supply of intercom systems for land vehicles, fast patrol boats and shelters in use by armed forces around the world. This latest step builds on our constant investment in this product line”.
