EID was honoured to welcome the Portuguese Army Chief of Staff, General Mendes Ferrão and his delegation.

Our team had the opportunity to share an overview of ongoing projects with Portuguese Army, to provide information about our innovative Defence Solutions and still time to address future trends about changes to the concept of operations.

The visit included a tour through the company’s facilities, meeting with the EID Executive President Martin Bennett and the Cohort Board Chief Executive Andy Andy Thomis. A visit to our museum also occurred and to our showroom where the Chief of Staff had the chance to understand the commitment, efforts and value EID brings to the Defence Industry, to the Armed Forces all over the world and to the Portuguese Armed Forces particularly the Portuguese Army.

General Mendes Ferrão wrote a very positive and overwhelmed message in our honour book and we are very grateful for his words.

We believe in our outstanding engineering capability that promotes a promising and strong relationship with the Portuguese Army and we couldn’t be more enthusiastic with the solutions we are able to provide.
