EID keeps supplying its customers at full speed

Published 16 June 2020
In early 2020 Portugal was forced into a quarantine situation by the COVID-19 worldwide pandemic. EID, along with many organizations, had to work out how to adapt to these new conditions to keep a level of productivity and customer support.
Due to the resilience and hard work of our workforce EID has been able to ensure that all its naval projects and deliveries kept their schedule.
During this challenging time we are proud to report that EID has succeeded in:
- Delivering fully cabled racks fitted with specialized equipment for several European Navies;
- Supplying an Integrated Communications Control System (ICCS) Hardware and Software simulator to Raytheon Australia, part of the Australian Auxiliary Oiler Replenishment (AOR) program;
- Providing a substantial level of Logistic Support and Spares for several European Navies, for ongoing projects.
We continue to return to a level of "normality" with the health, safety and welfare of our workforce at the centre of our operations, and are pleased to report that EID remains fully ready to support all of our customers, whatever the challenges may be.
